As digital privacy becomes a more pressing issue, Facebook is launching\u00a0two new initiatives\u00a0to help small businesses and developers protect their customers\u2019 data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As explained by\u00a0Facebook:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn this day and age, it\u2019s easier than ever for someone with a great idea to start a new company or develop an app from their kitchen table. But over the past year, we\u2019ve heard more and more questions from small and medium business owners and developers about how to build with privacy in mind, especially ahead of new regulations like the EU\u2019s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n For the first new offering, Facebook has partnered with Professor Daniel Solove from George Washington University\u2019s Law School, along with training company\u00a0TeachPrivacy, to provide a privacy training course for small businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDelivered by the National Consumers League, each session will cover the 10 key things that SMBs should know about protecting their customers\u2019 privacy.
